Ello all, my name is Ashley, most people call me Shlem. I found out about Unwoman from a friend who had me check out a ustream one night, that night I only listened to one song before I had other pressing matters to deal with. Weeks later he sent me the link to another one of her ustreams which happened to be the same night AFP retweeted her. I bought casualties that night. After listening to it all day at work, I bought the rest of her albums when I got home.
Lets see about me...hmm well I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Audio Arts and Acoustics. I stayed more on the acoustics side then the audio side. I currently work for a giant shipping/copying company, while some days suck, I truly do love my job.
I can play drums, bass, and a wee bit of the hammered dulcimer. I have an obsession with pirates (not just the movies but the history of the golden age of piracy), harry potter, and soccer.
